    Exciting iOS 7……

Apple have finally released iOS 7, the new operating system.

This is not an upgrade but a major redesign with a host of new features and improvements.

The look is completely different with a quirky new modern ethereal, floating, pastel type display
On everything provided by the new British design chief.

Many more functions from the Lockscreen, exciting upgrades for the Camera with sexy new filters, iOS Radio
    and much improved Multi-tasking.

It feels like a completely new device.

For people with disabilities of hand or sight the ease of switching between Apps is just amazing. A double click on the
Home Button takes you to a never ending pane of the tasks you have been doing sequentially and visible with full size
pictures not thumbnails of exactly where you were. Multi-tasking has never been easier.

There are major improvements in the Notification centre and a whole new control centre.

A new App called “Photobooth” with allsorts of new gizmos. A New iOS Radio. A New feature
called Airdrop a wifi sharing thing (latest models only), and Siri has gone all Zen and you talk into waves not Microphones.

iCloud Keychain is also new and remembers all your passwords for you

Everything everywhere is just smarter ! There say you just “Swipe”.

….and it looks and feels great.

If only the buggers would not be at loggerheads with Firefox and allow me to use my Gesture Driven Keyboards I
    would be completely happy.

    Points of information :-

    iPad 2 and later

    iPhone 4 and later

iPod Touch 5 and later (only found out after doing factory reset on my Series 4)

Will not install unless you have 3.3 Gb of free space. Annoying, I had to remove
lots of stuff temporarily. It actually takes no more space on your device than previous versions.

Thats the downside of these annual updates and are really not necessary – it eventually eats up your memory space forcing you to buy a new one :(

Jury is out whether this has any whzzy features that I will enjoy, so far i am annoyed at having to slide the slider when I open the cover – managed to get the ‘enter your code’ thingy turned off.

It does and it doesn’t ….. I ‘think’ that if the cover is removed after a certain length of time you need to slide the annoying slidy acrossagain.

never saw slidt thing before, straight to home screen.

As they are making capital out of how clever they are to have so many
thing running or visible from the lockscreen maybe they know this is disabling our expensive smart cases.

    Since iOS 7 update.

I have been unable to access Talk MD on my Apple mobile gadgets.

I keeps throwing me out when I try to add a reply or move between threads.

    Very annoying.

That’s strange Taung… I will borrow an iPhone and have a look.

I think the most memorable thing about the whole upgrade debacle is the fake press on the update that you could download and apparently would make your iPhone waterproof…and people tried it and killed their phones!! Can’t imagine how people would fall for that one..
