    Driving license renewal

    Hi I’ve received my letter to renew my driving licence. It says on ther they may do a medical and ask questions like do u need help with daily care and how?

    Has anyone else received this

    Is this because you’ve let the DVLA know about your muscular dystrophy? I let them know recently, and my GP made an appointment to see me. It was a fairly straightforward questionnaire that he filled out with me, and I’m just waiting for a response back now.

    Can’t see why having help matters. I can’t put my socks on but can parallel park in the toughest of spots.

    It’s not the first time I told them it’s a renewal after 3 years I’ve renewed before aswell but found this abit weird.. I just got abit worried

    What sort of timeframe did you receive your renewal? My 3 year licence runs out in July.

    Mine runs out in June.. you will prob hear from them soon

    thing they write 3 months before but if youve not hear within 8 weeks pop on to the DVLA online
