Critical breakthrough in understanding FSH
A collaboration between researchers from the Netherlands, USA, France and Spain has resulted in a greater understanding of the genetics of FSH. This is a critical breakthrough because although the genetic mutation causing FSH was identified nearly 20 years ago, scientists have struggled to understand how this mutation causes this complex condition. This new information will help scientists move closer to developing targeted treatments for the condition.
