Chelsea FC collection

Fantastic news – Chelsea Football Club has chosen to support the charity and have allocated a match day collection to the charity.

On Wednesday 21 August Chelsea take on the Aston Villa in a Barclays Premier League match at Stamford Bridge and the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign will also be there.

Over 40,000 fans will attend the match and we need at least 30 volunteers to hold buckets to collect funds from fans between 6pm and 8pm.

The collection is being held as the charity and football club come together to celebrate Lord Richard Attenborough’s 90th birthday. Football and charity work have been life-long passions for Lord Attenborough who is Honorary Life President to both the charity and the football club.
