Catheter ablation

Hello everyone,

I’m 28 years old, I have limb girdle muscular dystrophy and 2 years ago I had a pacemaker fitted. Recently I’ve been having some bad palpations and was referred to the hospital. They have recommended having a catheter ablation. What I wanted to ask is are there any of you who have had this done as I’m worried how it will affect my body. The doctor says after a few days most people are fine but that’s not taking muscular dystrophy into account. Any help or advice would greatly be appreciated
