12 Hour Pool-a-thon/shirt swap 11th Aug 2013

I am currently organising a 12 hour Pool-a-thon/shirt swap at my local club/pub. This will take place at Usworth Workingmans Club in Washington, Tyne & Wear NE37 3BD on Sunday 11th August 2013 from 11am – 11pm. ALL WELCOME

The plan is i’ll have a team of 6 Pool Players whom will try and POT 1,000 Balls in a 12 hour period, the reason been is i have a justgiving webpage http://www.justgiving.com/mdfundraiser and im trying to raise a target of £1,000 (and above and beyond) for the MDC.
So the idea is to pot 1,000 balls, for every pound targeted. Each player will pot until they miss, then the next player will step up and so forth until 1,000 balls have been potted.

Also we have a bit of a Football related theme going aswell, Im a SUNDERLAND FC fan and i have agreed to wear my fierce rivals shirt (NEWCASTLE UNITED’s) for the 12 hour period. (For those that know me, will know its REALLY gonna hurt my pride)
I am also hoping after the weekend to have the shirt signed by some Newcastle players to be auctioned at a later date.

I will have a table with MDC bits and bobs on like MD awareness material, such as Leaflets, Banners, Balloons etc also I will have for sale/donation. MDC PIN BADGES, WRISTBANDS, TROLLEY KEYRINGS and whatever else i can get along with a donation bucket.
