    The Swivelly Bathy Thing……

The O.T. Peeps have visited today.

They have had a rethink on my bathing regime. Out goes heavy, cumbersome bath-lift
With complicated recharging stuff. In comes super light swivelling bath seat with
    Transfer seat and step stool.

They know their stuff, together this works perfectly as a system and is just simple and
worry free. When they tested my old system last week, I tripped and fell. The
new system takes away all the risk and worry. I realise that I have had my last
ever bath but this is not the sad thing I thought it would be. The new chair
has a super comfortable backrest and I just sit there and luxuriate as the
push button shower sprays lovely warm water over me. Everything is
easy for my long handled washers.

Very pleased. O.T.’s are the Medicos that really know their stuff.

Looks good, Mr Fox. I can understand your relief that you’ve got a safer system in place now, even if it means no more baths. You can do Singing in the Rain now!

At the moment I have an Excel G3 manual that has to be pushed if I travel by plane or car. Day to day I am using the Quicki Salsa M motorized wheelchair. The Salsa has a rise function so I can stand out of it but it is heavy and massive and I would need a specialized car to transport it.
