I’m not sure if this is the right place for this. I’m sorry if this is a long post. Thank you for anyone who takes the time to read and reply.

I was hoping someone would have an answer to a question.
I have 2 biological sisters and 1 brother. One older sister has 4 children (2 boy, 2 girls), while the other has 2 boys. My older sister’s sons both have DMD, and one of her girl is a carrier. My other sister’s 2 boys do not have DMD. I do not have any children, but plan on getting tested in the near future. My sister is a carrier and missing (exons 51-55). My question is if my mother was a carrier, would we be missing the same exons if I were to be a carrier as well?
