    Lake District Walks

For those of you who can walk, and for those of us who are in wheels I want to introduce you to a great little book. Its called Easy Miles – No Steps No Stiles. Beautiful paths in the Lakes that are suitable for anyone who want easy short walks and for those of us who still want to see the Lake District scenery at its best but need our wheels to get about.
Just over £8 from various retailers, worth the investment if you like the outdoors. All panned out with food and toilet stops as well as very close parking.

Great find Mike. This is an area I’d like to visit in the next few years.

Just ordered! Often made the mistake (much to my partner’s annoyance!) that walks I’ve found that look (from vague researching online) accessible turn out to be very much the opposite and once you are half way round there is no going back

That sounds good, I’m only half an hour drive from the Lake District.
