    Hi, I’m Craig with LGMD

Hi, I was diagnosed about 18 months-2 years ago with limb girdle muscular dystrophy. Go5 m6 head round it quite quickly but do have bad days but I think that’s with Covid around as well.
So hi everyone, oh I’m 47

Hi Craig so you found out at 45 so must be late onset very slow progressing

What symptoms did you have which made you go to your gp about it
    And how are you now

I had a biopsy around 1 year ago and still no results back

Hi Craig, glad to see you have reached acceptance so quickly, I felt so angry and resentful for many years. (I’m 45 and was diagnosed with Becker MD at 28.)

I understand about being angry and resentful, I was just this and also could not understand how people except there fate when diagnosed with such or worse illness’s. I was angry to but I read this and it makes perfect sense, “being angry is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone eles however you end up just burning yourself” basically i read it as being angry effects you and those around you in a negative way

I’m at peace with what ever I have (awaiting diagnosis) and life is just a case of improvise, adapt and overcome by any means.
