    Gout

I was wondering if any of you suffer from gout? I am in the middle of an episode as I type, and am going mad with it! I have just discovered The Gout Society, and am away to find out what they have to say.

    No Gout here.

Goodness, sorry you have to put up with this as
well as all the MD stuff.

How are you getting on btw, Mr Fox? I haven’t heard much from you in recent years. I hope your MD difficulties haven’t got the better of you.

Great to see The Ranald back on our forum!

Big apology due to Ranald though. It seems from his posts he came back to have a nice chat with all the chatty people on our chatty forum.

Sadly things are a bit different. For various reasons the tone of the forum has changed and we seem to have moved more to answering medical questions. People get a couple of answers but do not stay. This is a vital and wonderful role that this lovely forum does and thank you again to the moderators that make it happen.

Amazing to think we would be on here for hours every day. We would just chat away with our friends and solve everyone’s problems. Cannot believe we used to play “I Spy”, post our pet photos, discus our mutual admiration for IDS and even on Fridays have a “virtual pub”.

Just at the time many of us needed support it was there all in one place!

Thanks your best wishes Ranald. I am just a bit slower and do a bit less of everything.
Very pleased to find a lot of the virus measures they have brought in, I have been doing for
five years. We were posting about online shopping and hygiene issues maybe we are ahead of the game here.

Hope you are well and are still keeping those Guardian readers “in line”.

Your comments highlight the importance of this forum at this difficult time. We are here to help in any way we can, and we will continue to help . Let us hope that the things you highlighted and the interest they generated will return in some form, especially as so many will be needing social contact and support in the coming weeks.
