Hi There, I’am Steve I’am 31 and I have Becker’s. I was thinking about doing some fundraising for the MD Campaign and was looking for some ideas of what I can do. Any help will be much appreciated. I am form the East MIdlands.

Oh my … the world is your oyster.

Are you thinking of doing something sponsored? Like a 24 hours silence, sitting in a tub of baked beans/custard/green goo.

Something more static, like being in the foyer of a shopping mall or supermarket [with their permissions] with a collection tin. Or holding a coffee morning or having a stall at a car boot sale or christmas fair selling donated items?

On the fundraising section on MDC there are contact details for fudraising reps in your ares who will be pleased to help you further or maybe you can get involved in something that is being planned

Thanks for any fund raising you do, [to borrow from Tesco] Every little helps!

    Hi Steve

Great to hear from you and great to hear you are wanting to do some fundraising. Would love to have a chat in more detaila and of course offer any support. I am going to be in London for two days in a team meeting and then moving house as of Thursday so wont have much access to e-mails but if you want to drop me an e-mail or pop me your contact number I will be more than happy to have a chat and see if we can get something up and running. Where abouts in the East Midlands are you?

    My e-mail is S.Benson@muscular-dystrophy.com or telephone 07825 845895.

Cheers – look forward to chatting soon.

    Hello moderators,
I’ve just read the last two posts on this subject and they are almost identical but separated by 4 years. Could one be spam or am I being cynical? Can’t think why the last posting was sent otherwise.
